You can catch Blake all week on CBS 4 and NBC 23’s “Valley Sports Central,” where he reports on all things Rio Grande Valley sports. Blake tackles the day-to-day landscape of sports in the RGV, whether it’s high school sports or the professional level.
Blake graduated with a broadcast journalism degree from the University of Missouri, with honors, in 2022.
Prior to CBS 4 and NBC 23, Blake worked at KOMU 8 News in Columbia, Missouri. He worked as a news reporter, producer and sports reporter/anchor.
His love for sports began at a young age, having a basketball in his hands before he could walk. Growing up a two-sport athlete, Blake learned valuable life lessons from sports. He believes sports are more than just a game. It’s what brings people together. It touches lives. Most of all, it influences the future generation.
Blake is a proud St. Louisian. He loves his St. Louis Cardinals and Blues. If you can’t catch him in the office, he’s either out on the golf course or hanging out at home with his cat Gucci.
